Karma and her sister Sky are two charming and very cute 6 month-old Boxer mix sisters (note the adorable little underbites!) who were surrendered to a county dog shelter by their owner as part of an unwanted litter that they couldn’t find homes for. From the shelter, they made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could relax in a foster home while searching for permanent new homes. Karma is the shyer of the two pups and generally follows her sister’s lead when exposed to new situations. She would likely enjoy being adopted together with her sister but if not, she will need a confident canine buddy in her new home who can help her adjust to her new surroundings. Karma came to us without having any idea what a leash was for but is giving it the old college try even though she still shows some reluctance to walk. Having a leash-proficient canine pal in her new home will help her work on her leash confidence as well. Karma has done well with crate-training in her foster home so we think she’ll be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home with some consistent direction on the part of her new family. Karma loves snuggling with her human friends and has done well meeting lots of other dogs since she’s been with us. We can’t wait to see this adorable girl living her best life in her very own home! Karma weighs about 30 pounds currently and may be 40 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $375. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Karma. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
