Kerry

We can honestly say this is one the most wonderful Hounds we’ve ever met! Kerry came to us as a stray from an overcrowded county dog shelter so while we have no history on her pre-shelter life, there’s no doubt that this girl is a real winner. She looks like a large Beagle mixed with Basset Hound as she has a long body. At only a year-old, she has been exceptionally well-mannered in her foster home. Kerry walks very nicely on a leash for a youngster but can get excited and eager to play if she sees another dog. She has impeccable crate manners and will take care of business quickly when out for a walk. We have yet to hear her bark so this girl is incredibly easy to have around. She’s got a beautiful rich copper-colored coat to go with her great disposition. You can’t go wrong welcoming this affectionate, gentle dog into your life! You’ll be rewarded with years of love and devotion if you do. Kerry weighs about 40 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Kerry. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
