Kiara-ADOPTED!

This pint-sized cutie is Kiara, a 1 year-old Chihuahua/Papillon mix female who packs a lot of personality into a tiny frame. Kiara came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we have no history on her pre-shelter life. Everyone who has meet Kiara since she came to us has been impressed with what a wonderful little dog she is! Kiara loves all people that she meets and has never met a dog she didn’t like either. She’s fearless and will play with a dog who is many times her size. Kiara loves to be held and cuddled by her human friends but would also be a great walking or hiking buddy for someone who wants a tiny companion. She’s got plenty of spunk and is ready to give it her all to keep up with the big dogs. Kiara has had excellent crate manners in her foster home and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She’s very food-motivated so could learn lots of tricks with some patient direction on the part of her new family. You can look far and wide but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more adorable, loving little companion. Kiara weighs all of about 8 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Kiara. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
