Terrier lovers, meet Kiki! This outgoing and spirited redhead is about 2 years-old and made the trip to Canine Lifeline from an overcrowded county dog shelter to find herself an outstanding new home. She looks like a mix between some type of Terrier and a Viszla with her gold eyes and beautiful red scruffy coat. Kiki is a very happy girl who has never met a stranger. She has done well with all people and dogs she’s met since coming to us. Kiki seems to be very much of a puppy at heart and will need an active family to keep her busy and entertained every day. She would likely do well with a canine buddy in her new home and would enjoy some humans who love to hike, jog, or walk on a daily basis. Kiki would not do well left alone for long workdays. She has done well with crate-training in her foster home and should continue that in her adoptive home. Kiki is a smart girl who’s eager to please and seems to pick up new routines quickly. She would love to enroll in an obedience class with her new family so she can become the best canine good citizen possible. Kiki weighs about 28 pounds and her adoption fee is $325. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Kiki. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
