This beautiful little girl is Lady, a 1 year-old redheaded Terrier mix female who is as sweet as they come. She came into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on her previous life. Lady was diagnosed with a mild case of demodectic mange at the shelter and has been treated for that. Lady loves other dogs and enjoys wrestling and playing chase with the other small dogs in her foster home. She’s very sweet and affectionate with people and enjoys crawling in the laps of her human friends for lots of hugs and kisses. Lady has been the perfect guest in her foster home and settles down nicely in her crate for a nap after playtime is over. She has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee that. Lady loves to go for walks and will be a great walking buddy now that beautiful spring weather is here. She would enjoy enrolling in an obedience class with her new family to show everyone how smart she is! Lady weighs about 14 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Lady. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
