Laramie-ADOPTED!

Laramie is a shy but sweet 4.5 year-old Shepherd mix female who was adopted from us about 1.5 years ago but recently returned because her family’s living arrangements had changed and they were no longer able to keep her. She was very attached to her family so was sad to lose her home but she’s making the best of it and ready to make a fresh start with a new family. We think Laramie might be happiest in a home as the only dog although she has done well with the other dogs in her foster home. As a mature lady, Laramie doesn’t enjoy the company of rowdy young dogs but a calm, well-mannered canine buddy would probably be fine with her. She is crate-trained and was housetrained in her previous home so should be able to pick up the house rules easily in her new home. Laramie can be shy and nervous when meeting new people so would do best in a quiet mature home where she doesn’t have to deal with a lot of chaos each day. She walks quite well on a leash and would make a good walking buddy for her new family. Laramie currently weighs about 70 pounds but is working on losing about 5 pounds to reach her ideal weight of about 65 pounds. Her adoption fee is $275. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Laramie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
