Larissa is a beautiful 11-12 week-old Black Lab pup who was surrendered to a shelter along with her sister by a breeder who could no longer care for her. From there, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for a permanent new home. This sweet girl is a typical Lab puppy—adventurous, loving, playful, and always on the lookout for fun. She loves playing with her fellow foster pups and enjoys toys of all kinds. Larissa has been working on crate-training in her foster home and doing well with that. She needs to continue that in her adoptive home and will need a new home where her family is able to let her outside every two hours or so during the day as she works on her house manners. Larissa has also been working on her leash skills and is doing quite well for a kid. With some daily practice, she’ll soon be walking like a pro. She looks forward to having lots of fun adventures in her new home and is looking for an active family who will take her hiking and swimming among other things—all the fun activities that Labs enjoy. Larissa is a clever puppy who can climb out of an exercise pen so will need lots of supervision in her new home. She weighs about 20 pounds currently and should be 60+ pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. Larissa is spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Larissa.
