Beagle lovers, meet Lenny! This handsome and very outgoing 3-4 year-old boy is as sweet as they come and eager to find a new family to love. Lenny found himself homeless at a rural county dog shelter so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for a permanent new home. We don’t have any history on his pre-shelter life but Lenny is a typically sweet, easy-going, and affectionate guy. He has done well with crate-training in his foster home so should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. Lenny gets along well with other dogs so would do fine in a home with canine buddies. He loves to keep his nose to the ground on walks and is eager to explore all the new scents in the neighborhood. Lenny loves getting cozy on his comfy blanket after a walk or playtime outside. He can’t wait to continue to experience how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be once he has his very own family. Lenny weighs about 25 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Lenny. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
