Levi is an adorable 2 year-old Terrier/Min Pin mix male who’s both very handsome and as sweet as can be. This boy came into a county dog shelter very underweight so we don’t know what kind of life he had before coming into the shelter. He does love to eat so will very soon be at his ideal weight. His food motivation is a real plus when working with him on obedience training. He’s willing to do just about anything as long as a little food reward is involved. He was perfect for his photo shoot and didn’t take his eyes off the yummy treats used to get his attention. Levi gets along well with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine buddy or two to pal around with. Once he’s at his ideal weight, he’s going to make the perfect walking or hiking buddy for someone who wants a small dog. He’s got plenty of spunk and can definitely keep up with the big dogs. Levi is working on crate-training and housetraining in his foster home and will need to continue those in his new home. He’s sure to pick up the routines quickly with some patient and consistent training on the part of his new family. Levi currently weighs about 11 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Levi. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
