Lily is a tiny 3 month-old Chihuahua mix female who came to Canine Lifeline with her family which included her mom Lucy (who only weighed about 7 pounds) and her two brothers Flash and Spanky. The pups were born in a foster home in KY on 9-20-18 and made the trip to Canine Lifeline on Oct 15. Her mom and brothers have been adopted and Lily is now looking for her very own permanent home. At about 3 pounds, Lily is the smallest dog we’ve ever had in our care. In spite of being very dainty and petite, she could definitely keep up with her bigger brothers and had lots of fun wrestling with them. She loves toys of all kinds and many of the toys in her foster home are bigger than she is but that doesn’t stop her from dragging them around. Lily has done well with pee pad training in her foster home. She loves to be picked up and held and isn’t at all shy about demanding attention when she feels she is being ignored. For a tiny girl, she can muster quite a voice when she needs to use it! Lily would likely enjoy a home with another small dog. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Lily. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
