We just can’t say enough great things about this sweet pup! Linus is a 10 month-old Hound mix boy with perhaps a little Boxer in his family tree who found himself looking for a new home at an overcrowded county dog shelter. From there, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for the forever home of his dreams. While we don’t have any history on Linus’ pre-shelter life, we have been so impressed with how polite, kind, and nice this pup is. He was so chill in front of the camera as if he’s been posing for photos on a regular basis! Linus loves playing with other dogs but settles down nicely in his crate once playtime is over. He’s active but not hyper. Linus has been very well-mannered in his foster home—excellent crate manners and does quite well on a leash too. We expect he’ll be able to pick up the house rules quickly once he moves into his new home. Linus does know the sit command and possibly more that we haven’t discovered yet. He’s going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Linus weighs about 40 pounds and his adoption fee is $325. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Linus. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
