Little Joe-ADOPTED!

Little Joe is a bright-eyed and alert 6 month-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd with pup with an outstanding disposition to go along with his great looks. He found himself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter along with his big brother Hoss and both made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for great new homes. Little Joe is a wonderful pup—he has gotten along well with everyone he meets, both people and other dogs. He picks up new routines quickly and has had excellent crate manners since coming to us. We expect he should be able to master the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. Little Joe loves playing with his brother and other dogs as well so would enjoy having a canine buddy in his new home. He had no idea what a leash was all about when he first arrived but got the hang of it within 24 hours and now loves going out for a walk. As fast he learns new things, it’s going to be a real pleasure for his new family to work with Little Joe on commands. He’s sure to impress everyone he meets as much as he’s impressed us! Little Joe weighs about 29 pounds currently and we expect he may be about 50-60 pounds once full-grown. His adoption fee is $375. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Little Joe. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
