Luna is a very kind and gentle Lab/Beagle mix female who was surrendered to a county dog shelter by her family before Christmas. We don’t know what circumstances resulted in her losing her home but her owners did tell the shelter that she is about 10 years-old. If that’s the case, then Luna is a very YOUNG 10 year-old as she sure doesn’t act her age. She’s got plenty of spunk, loves to play with toys and other dogs, and jumps up onto the laps of her human friends with ease. Luna walks nicely on a leash, does well in  her crate, and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee that. Luna is hoping that the next chapter of her life in her forever home will be the very best and has lots of love and affection in store for the person or family who gives her that chance. Luna weighs about 28 pounds and her adoption fee is $150. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. She received a dental cleaning at the shelter before coming to Canine Lifeline so now has a pretty white smile. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Luna. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
