Maggie-PENDING

This adorable 8 month-old Mountain Cur mix girl is Maggie. She was surrendered to an overcrowded rural county dog shelter by her family who no longer wanted her or her buddy Emmie. From the shelter, Maggie and Emmie both made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could take their time finding perfect new homes. Maggie is a delightful little dog who has been friendly with all people and other dogs that she’s met since coming to us. She also really loves toys and was thrilled to find a stuffed toy of her very own while we were taking her photos. She hung onto that toy for several minutes! Maggie is a gentle dog who is very affectionate and loving with people. She has what it takes to be a great walking or jogging buddy for her new family but also loves some down time with lots of snuggling. Maggie has done well with crate-training in her foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She’s a fabulous dog who is eager to experience how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be in her new home. Maggie weighs about 32 pounds and her adoption fee is $325. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Maggie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
