What a great dog! Mandy is a beautiful 9-10 month-old pup who looks like a mix of Pointer and Lab to us. She came into an overcrowded county dog shelter and inexplicably, was there for weeks without being adopted or pulled by a rescue. When the situation at the shelter became dire, we pulled Mandy so she could come to Canine Lifeline and have more time to find the perfect new home. The moment we met this sweet dog, we were impressed with her outstanding disposition and gentle nature. She makes friends quickly with all dogs and people that she meets and while she’s playful with toys and other dogs, she’s not a hyper puppy by any means. Mandy has had excellent crate manners since her arrival and takes care of business quickly when she goes outside. She should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. Mandy also walks nicely on a leash for a youngster and is going to love exploring the great outdoors with her new person or family. This girl is a true gem and we’re so glad we’re able to help her find a wonderful permanent home and the fabulous life she deserves. Mandy weighs about 40 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Mandy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
Mandy-ADOPTED!

Mandy is a handsome girl with a very good disposition. When her photos (above) were being taken, she was calm and very cooperative. She good-naturedly allowed us to accessorize her with jewelry and the red flower. In fact, she seemed to enjoy the extra attention and affection she received. In fact, she was an excellent cuddler while the photo shoot was going on.
She’s a lovely, gentle dog who would be a great addition to any loving family.
