Marlin is a 3 year-old Border Collie/Lab mix male and a true gentleman! We don’t understand how in the world this great dog was an unclaimed stray at a rural county dog pound but we’re glad that we’re going to be able to find him a great new home. This boy is kind, gentle, and respectful of both other dogs and people. He is a bit submissive when meeting new dogs and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body. Marlin is also very friendly with people. He has had excellent crate manners in his foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Marlin seems to be the kind of dog that’s going to walk into his new house and make himself right at home. One meeting with him and we think you’re going to be as smitten with him as we are. Marlin weighs about 42 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Marlin. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
