Miles-ADOPTED!

You’re going to want to keep your jogging shoes handy if you adopt Miles, an active and energetic 1 year-old Border Collie/Beagle mix male. This cutie came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on his previous life. He is a lively guy though so will need an active family to keep up with him and keep him busy. Miles loves playing with other dogs but can be quite rough and rowdy so would need a canine companion who matches his style of play. He would not do well left alone for long workdays so needs a person or family who has plenty of time to spend with him. Miles is a smart pup who picks up new routines easily and is eager to learn. He might enjoy trying agility once he completes some basic obedience training. Miles weighs about 30 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Miles. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
