Milo-PENDING

Boxer lovers, meet Milo! This friendly, handsome, and 100% silly 1-2 year-old was surrendered to a shelter by his owners who no longer wanted him. Apparently his family wasn’t prepared for puppy energy so left him outside alone for most of the time. He was bored and occupied himself by digging in flower beds and other fun things. Milo is a great dog who needs an active person or family who has plenty of time to exercise, train, and play with him. He LOVES other dogs so would certainly enjoy having a playful canine buddy in his new home or regular trips to doggie daycare to blow off some steam. He has been a real joy in his foster home—excellent in his crate and likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Milo’s puppy exuberance can get the better of him as he does like to jump on people for attention but he is learning that all good things come to dogs who keep all four paws on the ground. He is such a happy dog with typical Boxer enthusiasm. Milo greets all of his human friends with a full body wag. He likes to “talk” to his foster mom which is actually very endearing and usually likes to have the last word. Milo would love to go on lots of walks and hikes with his new family and would certainly enjoy having a secure fenced yard to play in. Milo weighs about 54 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Milo. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
