This super-cute girl with loads of personality is Minnie. She’s a 7 month-old Basset mix female who loves everyone and everything. She came into a county dog shelter as a stray with significant hairloss. She was diagnosed with demodectic mange (the noncontagious variety) and has been recovering well from that now that she’s been treated. Her skin is healing nicely and her coat is starting to fill in. Minnie is an absolute doll who gets along great with other dogs. She would enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home as she loves to wrestle and play chase with other dogs. She might also be fine as the only dog iin her new home provided that her family has plenty of time to spend with her. Minnie loves to play so lots of playtime and exercise for her everyday is a must. She has done well in her crate in her foster home so should be able to pick up the housetraining routine quickly in her new home. Minnie enjoys going for a walk and does well on a leash for a youngster. She’s a real character and is going to be a delightful companion for one lucky person or family. Minnie currently weighs about 38 pounds and will likely be 45 pounds or more once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.
