Mocha-ADOPTED!

Mocha is a gorgeous 3 year-old Chocolate Lab mix female with an outstanding disposition. She found herself homeless with her three 3-4 month-old pups (Malley, Latte, and Java) and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so the whole family could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for wonderful new homes. Mocha took great care of her pups but is ready to move on and be someone’s pampered pup now. She seems to have had a rough life in the past as she arrived here with horrible ear infections, so bad that her ear drums were destroyed. She can still hear and her ears are currently being treated but her new family will have to keep a close eye on her ears and clean them on a weekly basis to prevent further infections. Mocha has been a low-key, quiet girl since arriving here with us. She enjoys lots of attention from her human friends and has been fine with all other dogs that she’s met since coming to us but seems to prefer her canine buddies on the calmer side. Mocha met the resident kitty at the vet clinic and seemed quite interested in her so would probably do best in a cat-free home. She walks nicely on a leash, has excellent crate manners, and should be able to pick up the house manners quickly in her new home. Mocha is going to be a grateful buddy for a family who’s looking for a wonderful dog to love. Mocha weighs about 64 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Mocha. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
