Monty-ADOPTED!

Small dog lovers are going to fall head over heels for this little cutie. Monty is a 1 year-old Terrier mix male with lots of spunk but with a cuddly side too. This little guy came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we have no history on his previous life or how he ended up homeless but he’s not letting his past get him down. Monty is a bright and cheerful guy who gets along very well with other dogs and makes friends quickly with people too. He can be a little submissive at first but relaxes once he realizes someone wants to be his friend. Monty is working on crate-training and housetraining in his foster home and will need to continue both in his new home. He would do best with someone who is not gone for long workdays so that he can pick up the house rules easier. Monty hasn’t had much experience on a leash yet but he’s willing to learn and is sure to be enjoying walks around his new neighborhood very soon. He loved having his pictures taken and is a natural in front of the camera. Monty weighs about 14 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Monty. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
