Nala is a very friendly and outgoing 7-8 month-old girl whose breed mix is truly anyone’s guess. She was an owner surrender at an overcrowded county dog shelter recently and made the trip to Canine Lifeline to work on finding herself a great new home. We don’t know what caused Nala to lose her home but have found her to be a delightful guest in her foster home since coming to us. Her paperwork from the shelter has her labeled as a Norfolk Terrier/Chihuahua mix but we don’t really see either of those breeds in her. She’s definitely a candidate for a DNA test but we’re going with Corgi and Feist mix as a best guess. Nala is one happy pup who almost always has a smile on her face. She gets along well with other dogs and has been very friendly when meeting new people. Nala may need a little work on housetraining in her new home so would do best with someone who is able to let her outside every 4 hours or so during the day. She wouldn’t be happy being left alone for long workdays. Nala loves to go for a walk and is going to make a great walking pal for someone who wants a small dog who’s active enough to keep up with the big dogs. Nala weighs about 17 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Nala. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
