Nick is a cute little 6 month-old Chihuahua/Pug mix male who may remind you of the Energizer Bunny when you first meet him. He’s active, wiggly, and 100% puppy! Nick was found wandering in the parking lot of a busy shopping area and was taken to the local shelter to see if anyone was missing him. No one claimed this little squirt so he packed his bags and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to take his time finding the perfect new home. Nick gets along well with other dogs so would probably enjoy having a little canine pal to blow off some steam with in his new home. He likes playing with toys of all kinds and is very entertaining. Nick will sit on command and walks pretty well on a leash when wearing a harness. He does well in a crate (no accidents) so should pick up the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. Nick weighs all of about 9 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Nick. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
