Nikki is a lovely 4 year-old Collie mix female who was found abandoned in a home with her pal Princess after the family was evicted. She’s a very sweet and loving dog who isn’t letting her sad past get her down. Princess is much more rambunctious that Nikki so the two dogs do not need to be adopted together. While Nikki gets along well with other dogs, she seems to prefer her canine companions on the calmer side. On nice days, Nikki is more content to sunbathe and watch all the other foster dogs playing and wrestling around her. She would love a nice cozy home where she could take daily walks around the neighborhood followed by plenty of snuggle time on the couch. Nikki has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She is going to make an excellent companion for one very lucky person or family. Nikki weighs about 39 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Nikki. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
