Calling all Beagle lovers! Norma is ready for adoption and wants to meet you. This sweet and loving 6 year-old lady came into a shelter with her pal Jean and both made their way to Canine Lifeline when their time was up at the shelter. Norma tested positive for heartworms so needed to go through lifesaving treatment which Canine Lifeline provided for her in May. She did very well with her treatment and is now ready to find herself a permanent new home where she can live life as a pampered pup. Norma gets along very well with other dogs so would do fine with another canine pal or two in her new home. She’s quite a low-key, laid-back girl so is content to lounge on the deck in her foster home when outdoors. Her pal Jean sticks close to her and they often curl up together for a nap. Should someone be able to open up their heart and home to both girls, Jean could be adopted with Norma for a single adoption fee of $250. Although these two girls don’t need to be adopted together, it would certainly be wonderful if they could stay together. Norma has excellent crate manners so should pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. In true Beagle fashion, she does love mealtime and gets very excited each day when it’s time to eat. Norma’s had a rough go of it recently and she certainly hopes that she can settle into her comfy new home soon. Norma weighs about 28 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, current on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Norma. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
