Nugget-PENDING

Nugget is an active, energetic, fun-loving 8 month-old Lab mix who loves everyone and everything. He found himself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter but hasn’t let that get him down. Now that he’s here with us, he spends his days wrestling and playing chase with his fellow foster dogs. He would really love having an active canine pal or two in his new home. Trips to the dog park and doggie daycare would also be high on his wish list. For a youngster, Nugget has excellent crate manners so should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. Since he’s just a kid and it’s likely no one has worked with him much in the past, Nugget would benefit from attending an obedience class with his new family. He’s eager to learn, super food-motivated, and should be a pleasure to work with. Nugget weighs about 36 pounds now but will likely weigh between 40-50 pounds once full grown. His adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Nugget. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
