This beautiful 5-6 year-old Pointer/Hound mix is Oakley. She’s all white with brown polka dots on her ears—very cute! This sweet girl was found as a stray and taken to the local county dog shelter. No one claimed her there so she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could take her time finding the perfect new home. This is a great dog! From the moment we met her, we knew she was a special girl. She’s very sweet and affectionate with people and great with other dogs too. During her photo shoot, her puppy side emerged and she was so excited about all the squeaky toys that we used to get her attention. She’d certainly love a box full of toys in her new home! Oakley loves going for a walk and likes to explore lots of new scents on her walks. She does well with a harness so we will send one home with her new family. Oakley has had excellent crate manners since she’s been with us so she may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. You just won’t find a sweeter girl than our Oakley! Oakley weighs about 45 pounds and her adoption fee is $300. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Oakley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
