This charming and very beautiful 1-2 year-old Border Collie/Retriever mix spayed female is Olivia. She was found as a stray in poor condition and brought to the local shelter. When her stray hold was up, Olivia made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could take her time finding the perfect new home. Although she’s a young dog, Olivia seems to be an old soul as she’s much more low-key and quiet than you’d expect a dog her age to be. Everyone who has met her has been iimpressed with what a kind, gentle girl she is. She gets along with other dogs but we think she would prefer to be her family’s only dog so she can get all the love and attention available. Olivia has done well with her crate-training in her foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. She is curious about toys but plays very gently. We keep expecting Olivia to let her inner puppy break loose but so far she’s been a super-calm and mellow girl. Olivia walks well on a leash and would love to explore with her new family. She weighs about 42 pounds now but is still thin and needs to gain 5-10 pounds to be at her ideal weight. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Olivia. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
