Calling all Pug lovers! Say hello to Otis, a 2 year-old little guy who’s overflowing with personality and spunk. This little gent came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on him. He was a little frightened at the shelter and was snappy on occasion as a result. We have seen that behavior from Otis when he is nervous so for that reason, he will need a home with a mature, adults-only family who is willing to give him the time and patience needed for him to feel comfortable with his new family and surroundings. He’s perfectly comfortable with his foster mom now and loves to snuggle in her lap. Otis gets along well with other dogs so might benefit from having another calm canine in his new home who can show him the ropes. He has had excellent crate manners in his foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Otis walks nicely on a leash and is ready to be your new walking pal. Otis weighs about 17 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Otis. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
