Pearl-PENDING

This gorgeous 6-7 month-old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix pup is Pearl. She came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter along with her sister Lacy and both made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could take their time finding permanent new homes. While Pearl gets along well with her sister, the girls do not need to be adopted together. Pearl has done well with all other dogs she’s met since coming to us so would likely do fine in a home with another canine companion. She has done very well with crate-training in her foster home and should be able to master the house rules quickly in her new home with some consistent positive direction on the part of her new family. For a youngster, Pearl walks quite nicely on a leash and is very responsive to her handler when out for a walk. She’s a quick learner who aims to please. Pearl loves toys of all kinds and is still a complete puppy at heart. This beautiful pup is going to make an outstanding companion for the lucky person or family who has the time to devote to training, socializing, and exercising a young pup. Pearl weighs about 46 pounds currently and will likely be 60+ pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $400. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Pearl. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
