You won’t find a cuter, more outgoing, and social little guy than our Peppy. This adorable little 13 week-old Chihuahua mix came to us along with his mom Gabby (a 2 year-old, 12 pound Chihuahua/Pug mix) on Jan 7 after finding themselves homeless at a rural county dog shelter. We don’t have any idea who Peppy’s papa is but Peppy sure looks like he is mostly Chihuahua. This little guy has plenty of spunk and is very entertaining. He has never met a stranger and is eager to play with everyone and everything—including stuffed toys that are much bigger than he is! Peppy has done well with pee pad training and is ready to work on housetraining in his new home. He loves to be carried around and gives out lots of kisses of appreciation to his human friends. Peppy does well with other dogs but since he’s so little we would want to place him in a home with small canine buddies. He currently weighs about 4-5 pounds and we expect he’ll be in the 10-12 pound range once he’s full-grown. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Peppy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
