Phoebe-ADOPTED!

This beautiful dog with the sweet smile is Phoebe, a 2 year-old Bloodhound/Shepherd mix female. In addition to being very pretty, Phoebe has an outstanding disposition. She was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by her family. We don’t know what led her to lose her home but her family did not have her spayed and Phoebe has clearly had several litters of pups while still a very young dog herself. Phoebe is now spayed and is looking for a home where she will live the life of a very pampered pup. She is kind and gentle with all dogs that she meets and people too. Phoebe plays nicely with other dogs and enjoys having fun with dogs of all sizes. Her play style matches that of her canine pal. Phoebe has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. It’s likely that she hasn’t had much experience on a leash to date but she’s eager to please so with a little more practice, is soon to be walking like a pro. Phoebe weighs about 55 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Phoebe. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
