Looking for a tiny dog with lots of spunk and attitude? That’s our Pico, a pint-sized 2 year-old, 6 pound Chihuahua who’s got lots of personality packed into that tiny frame. This little guy lost his home because his family no longer had time for him and his buddy Ace. Pico and Ace are not very attached to each other so don’t need to be adopted together. Pico really enjoys being around people so might enjoy being the only dog in his new home so he doesn’t have to share attention with others. He is crate-trained but would much prefer to be out with his humans. We can’t guarantee that he’s housetrained but he has done well in his foster home in that area. Pico trots around nicely on a leash so would enjoy daily walks when the weather is nice. His adoption fee is $200. Pico is neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Pico. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
