Meet Posey, an adorable 6-7 month-old Aussie/Cattle Dog mix pup who is as sweet as she is gorgeous. Posey was adopted from a shelter as a young pup but recently returned to them. We don’t know what circumstances caused Posey to lose her home but we have found her to be an exceptionally nice dog since arriving at Canine Lifeline from the overcrowded shelter. Posey loves other dogs and people too. She plays nicely with her fellow foster dogs so would enjoy having a canine buddy or two in her new home or regular trips to doggie daycare. Posey has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t promise that she won’t have a few accidents as she gets used to her new home. She would make a great walking, hiking, ior jogging buddy for her new family and is hoping to find a home where she can accompany her family on lots of fun adventures. Posey seems to be a really smart dog who would love to go through obedience training with her new family. Once she has the basics under her belt, she might even like to try agility. The sky’s the limit for this great dog—she just needs some humans to give her the very best life possible. Posey weighs about 33 pounds currently and may be about 40-45 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Posey. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
