Looking for a fun dog who’s got a sense of adventure and a great disposition? That’s our Princess! In spite of having been abandoned and ending up at an overcrowded local animal shelter, Princess has a great attitude and is eager to start the next chapter of her life with a new family. This 1.5 year-old American Bulldog mix female gets along great with other dogs and has been very friendly and outgoing with all people that she’s met. She knows some commands and will happily sit and shake hands for a treat. Princess has an adorable underbite which gives her a perpetual pout. She made such a serious face for the camera but this girl always has a big smile on her face when there’s no camera around.  Princess has excellent crate manners so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She will need some work on a leash as she loves to charge ahead on walks so using an EZ Walk harness during the training period will be very helpful. With a little time and effort spent working with this girl, she’s going to be a terrific companion for years to come. Princess weighs about 45 pounds but needs to gain a few more to be at her ideal weight. Her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Princess. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
