They sure don’t come any cuter than Rascal, our adorable 2 year-old Pomeranian/American Eskimo mix male who has a super-sweet disposition to match his good looks. Not sure how this great boy came to be homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter but that was his plight. When the shelter reached out to us for help with him, Rascal made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would have more time to relax in a foster home while searching for that perfect new home. Rascal has been an absolute delight in his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs, has excellent crate manners, and will sit nicely for a treat. He also takes treats very gently and is a very polite boy. Rascal loves squeaky toys and would enjoy an overflowing toy box in his new home. He does like to be busy so his ideal home would be with an active family who would be able to spend a lot of time with him. Rascal has a beautiful thick coat which will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. He can’t wait to strut his stuff around his new neighborhood and is sure to have a neighborhood fan club in no time. Rascal weighs about 21 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Rascal. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
