Beagle lovers, meet Redmond, a very handsome 4 year-old Beagle boy who found himself homeless and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to take his time finding the perfect new home. We have found this sweet boy to have an outstanding disposition. He gets along well with other dogs he meets and seems to make fast friends with new people too. Redmond likes to play and wrestle with other dogs but is content to curl up in his crate for a nap once playtime is over. He has had excellent crate manners so we expect he’ll be able to pick up the house rules quickly in his new home. Redmond has been a very quiet, well-behaved dog in his foster home and his foster mom has had only good things to say about him. He likes to go for walks and is eager to explore his new neighborhood with his nose to the ground taking in all the new scents. While not required, an aboveground fenced yard would be ideal for Redmond so he could sniff outside to his heart’s content. If he does not have a fence in his new home, he will need to be kept on a leash so his nose doesn’t lead him astray. Redmond weighs about 30 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Redmond. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
