Riley is a big lovable lap dog who came to us highly recommended from a county dog shelter. He had arrived there as a stray and wasn’t claimed so made the trip to Canine Lifeline to take his time to find the perfect new home. We were impressed with his kind, gentle disposition the moment we met him. We’re not sure what breed mix Riley is but we’re guessing Husky and Lab although there could be some Rottie or Shepherd in his family tree too. Riley has been the perfect gentleman in his foster home. He gets along nicely with other dogs of all sizes, has excellent crate manners, and has rarely barked in his foster home. Riley would be equally comfortable going on a 5 mile hike with you as he would be cuddling up to watch Animal Planet on a cold winter night. Riley loves attention from his human pals and is very sweet and affectionate. This super-nice boy is going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Riley weighs about 61 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Riley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
