This little lady is River, a 3.5 month old Lab mix female with a big personality. She was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by her family who could no longer keep her and from there, made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for her forever home. As a single puppy, River happily joined our Beagle mix pups in her foster home and has been playing happily with her foster buddies while waiting to be adopted. River is a typical pup in that she loves toys of all kinds and wrestling with other dogs but also enjoys snuggling with her human friends once playtime is over. This girl LOVED having her picture taken and would come to attention as soon as the camera was pointed at her. She’s got great focus for a puppy so should be fun to train. River is not yet housetrained but now that the weather is improving, she can start working on that in her new home. River weighed 11.3 pounds when she was spayed on 3-28-19 and we expect she’ll be 30-40 pounds when full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in River. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
