4-26-20–MEDICAL HOLD–WE ARE AWAITING RESULTS OF A RINGWORM CULTURE BEFORE PLACING ROCKO IN A NEW HOME. This handsome little man is Rocko, a 4 year-old Beagle who is as just as sweet and gentle as he looks. We don’t have any history on this boy as he was found as a stray. When he wasn’t claimed, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to relax in a foster home while searching for his permanent new home. Rocko is a typically sweet Beagle who has gotten along well with everyone he meets, both people and other dogs. He reportedly ignores cats although we haven’t introduced him to any since he came to us. Rocko has done well with crate-training and has been the perfect gentleman in his foster home. He should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in his new home with some patient and consistent positive direction on the part of his new family. Having a canine buddy in his new home to show him the ropes would be ideal. Rocko would also benefit from having a home with a fenced yard (secure aboveground fence) so he could sniff safely at home without having his nose lead him astray. This cute little guy is going to make one lucky person or family very happy! Rocko weighs about 25 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Rocko. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
