Looking for a small dog who can hike with the big guys? That’s our Rollie, a 2 year-old Terrier mix male with a friendly and outgoing disposition as well as plenty of spunk. We don’t know how this little guy ended up at an overcrowded county dog shelter but that was his plight. He made the trip from there to Canine Lifeline so he could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for his forever home. Rollie is a great dog who has never met a stranger. He loves people, other dogs, and toys of all kinds. Rollie is an athletic pup who might be an excellent agility candidate. As mentioned, he would be a great hiking buddy for someone who wants a small companion—a little guy who can be picked up and carried over mud puddles on the trail! Rollie has had excellent crate manners in his foster home so we expect he should be able to master the house rules in his new home without too much trouble. We’re looking forward to seeing Rollie having lots of fun adventures in his new home. Rollie weighs about 18 pounds and his adoption fee is $325. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Rollie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
