This sweet girl is Rosalita, a 1 year-old who looks to be a mix of Border Collie and Boxer. She has a slight underbite which only adds to her charm in our book! We have no history on this friendly pup as she came to us from a shelter. Since coming to us, we can tell you that Rosalita absolutely LOVES people as well as other dogs. She has a great time playing with her fellow foster dogs and enjoys giving every dog she meets a kiss on the face. Rosalita is working on crate-training and housetraining in her foster home and with some patient and consistent training on the part of her new family, she should have the house rules mastered fairly quickly. Rosalita is a little unsure about what leash walking is all about but with some daily practice in her new neighborhood, will soon be walking like a pro. Rosalita weighs about 35 pounds now but is working on gaining about 5 more to be at her ideal weight. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped.  All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Rosalita. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
