Meet Rose, a 1 year-old Border Collie mix girl with long legs, beautiful markings, and a wonderful disposition. She was adopted from a shelter as a puppy about a year ago but recently returned to the shelter because her family could no longer care for her. Rose is an active young dog who loves playing with other dogs. She might do fine in the home as the only dog provided her family has plenty of time to spend exercising her and working with her on obedience training. She’s a smart dog who picks up new routines quickly so would love a new family who would challenge her with regular training to keep her on her toes. Rose does well in a crate and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She will make a great walking or jogging buddy once she has a little more leash work onboard. Rose weighs about 55 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Rose. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
