If you’re looking for a BIG, lovable puppy, you’ll want to meet Sable! This sweet scruffy 14 week-old girl was turned into a shelter by a breeder after her mom (a Labradoodle we were told) had an unwanted litter. Sable looks to us like there might be some Giant Schnauzer in the mix and we expect she’ll be about that size (70-80 pounds) once full-grown. Sable came to Canine Lifeline from the shelter to find the perfect new home. She is 100% puppy and loves to play all day long. Sable loves toys, other dogs, people, and probably kitties too if they will play with her. She has a good start on housetraining and crate-training and, with some consistent positive reinforcement training in her new home, should soon have the house rules mastered. For a youngster, she walks quite well on a leash and will pee and poop very quickly when on a walk. Sable needs a family who has plenty of time to spend playing, training, and exercising her. She wouldn’t do well left alone for long workdays. A playful canine buddy or two in her new home would be perfect for her too. Sable currently weighs about 27 pounds but has a long way to go to grow into those big paws. We expect she will be 70-80 pounds once full grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Sable. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
