Sadie is a beautiful 6 year-old Lab mix female who came to us from a local county dog shelter after having been surrendered by her owner. When she came to us, she was underweight and in serious need of some dental work. With lots of TLC, Sadie has really blossomed in her foster home. She may have spent much of her previous life living as an outdoor dog but she has embraced indoor life in her foster home and doesn’t want to look back. Her coat is becoming very soft and shiny and her recent dental cleaning has left her with a pearly white smile. Sadie loves toys of all kinds and really perked up when we brought out the squeaky toys at her photo session. She would love to play a good game of fetch with her new family. Sadie is very sweet, loving, and eager to please so should respond well to obedience training. She seems to have had limited exposure to the leash in her previous life as she loves to pull hard on a walk. Working with her on an EZ Walk harness will make outings more pleasant as she gains more practice. Sadie weighs about 50 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Sadie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
