Shay is a beautiful and super-friendly 1.5 year-old Boxer/Hound mix female with pretty markings and a cute bobtail. She was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by her family who said they didn’t have time for her. Shay does loves to play so will need an active family to keep her busy and entertained. She gets along very well with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home or regular trips to doggie daycare should she be the only dog in the home. Shay is very attentive to her human friends and seems to be quite food-motivated so should be very responsive to obedience training. She has had excellent crate manners in her foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. If you can give this great girl the active lifestyle she needs, Shay is eager to meet you! Shay weighs about 50 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Shay. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
