Snickers and his 5 brothers and sisters found themselves homeless at a high-kill rural county dog shelter and were transferred from there to a neighboring county shelter where dogs have a chance at finding rescue. As many of us at Canine Lifeline are known to have a soft spot for dogs with underbites, the shelter immediately contacted us about this litter and we couldn’t say no! We don’t have any history on these pups but they look to be Pug/Boxer mixes and are about 3 months-old. Snickers is the smallest of the group weighing 8.1 pounds when he was neutered on 6-15. He loves, loves, LOVES to play and is perhaps the most adventuresome of the group. Snickers can amaze his littermates by climbing out of a puppy pen (along with his sister Piper). He’s a very resourceful and talented pup so needs a family who can channel those smarts into a positive direction! Snickers has the cutest little ears which often fold back on themselves as you can see in a couple of his pics. One of our volunteers commented that it looks like he’s wearing a baseball cap backwards! Snickers is an absolute doll and is going to make an outstanding pal for someone who has the time and energy to devote to training a spunky pup. He loves all dogs he meets so would do well with a canine buddy in his new home. Snicker’s adoption fee is $350. We expect he’ll be about 30 pounds once full-grown. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Snickers. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
