This little lady is Snowflake, an 8 year-old Poodle who was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by her owner. We don’t know what circumstances led to Snowflake losing her home but she was very shy and intimidated by all the noise and commotion at the shelter. From there, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for a permanent new home. Snowflake has been the perfect houseguest in her foster home. She is very quiet and well-mannered, never says a word, and has excellent crate manners. It’s likely that she’s housetrained too but we can’t guarantee that. She was very shy during her photo shoot but she does enjoy hugs and cuddles from her human friends and loves to melt into someone’s lap. Snowflake gets along very well with other dogs but would likely be fine in the home as an only dog as well as long as her people have lots of time to spend with her. She is such a sweet and charming girl who gives her foster mom a cute little dance and tail wag now that she’s comfortable in her new surroundings. Snowflake can’t wait to move into a quiet and mature new home where she can really relax and enjoy life. Snowflake weighs about 8-9 pounds and her adoption fee is $150. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Snowflake. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
