This handsome and very photogenic young man is Sonic, a 3 year-old who we’re guessing to be a Pug (note the charming underbite) and Min Pin (note the long legs) mix with perhaps a little Chihuahua thrown in for good measure. Sonic found himself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so that he could take his time finding the perfect new home. This little guy can be quite shy at first meeting new people but if you go slow with him and let him get to know you, he warms up quickly and soon becomes your best buddy. Sonic craves human companionship and forms strong attachments to his humans very quickly. He gets along with other dogs but much prefers the company of people it seems. Sonic has had excellent crate manners in his foster home so should be able to master the house rules quickly in his new home. He’s a talented little guy who can stand on his hind legs for quite some time. When he does that, he reminds us of a Meerkat! Sonic can’t wait to experience just how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be with his new family. He’d love to balance lots of snuggle time in a cozy bed with adventurous walks around the block each day. Sonic weighs about 13 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Sonic. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
