Spice-ADOPTED!

Spice is a gorgeous 9-10 week-old Border Collie mix female who came to Canine Lifeline along with her mom Sadie and 7 siblings so she could find a great home. We don’t know who her papa is but her mom Sadie is a black and white Border Collie mix. Spice and her family have been getting lots of TLC in a foster home while searching for their permanent new homes. She’s a sweet and loving pup who will need all the basics including housetraining and obedience training. Spice loves playing with her siblings so would enjoy having a playful canine buddy in her new home. She needs a family who has plenty of time to devote to her and is able to let her outside every 2 hours or so during the day as she works on housetraining. Puppies are lots of fun but also lots of work so please make sure you have the time and energy to devote to a pup before submitting an application. Given her breed mix, Spice will need an energetic person or family who understands herding breeds and their needs. Spice weighs about 8-9 pounds currently and we expect she’ll be in the 50-60 pound range once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Spice. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are only placing our dogs locally at this time, within a 60 minute drive of Macedonia OH. No out of state applications are being considered.
